Cabbage Sauteed Quick And Easy

1 medium head of cabbage

1 small to medium onion

6 cloves of garlic (amount optional)
3 tablespoons butter 
Pinch of paprika
Sea salt

Cut the cabbage into two quarters and cut out the core. Shred each quarter into thin slices. You want them bite-sized and thin. Then quarter and slice the onions thin also.

Crush garlic and set aside.
Next, in a large sauce pan melt the butter and add the paprika. Simmer about 3 seconds and next add the cabbage, onions and garlic. Cover pan with lid and simmer until cabbage is tender and translucent. If necessary, add a few tablespoons of water.
Season with salt to taste.
