2 1/2 cups cooked navy beans, mashed
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh basil chopped
Blend beans, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and basil in a food processor or blender until smooth and creamy.
Add salt, pepper and cumin to taste. Serve with pita bread or pita chips.
